* July 6 -Sunday Gospel Study will be held between services from 9:40 to 10:20 am. You are invited to join the preacher for the day and discuss the gospel reading. Each Sunday's gospel text can be found on our home page. Come all!!
Summer office hours are now Monday through Thursday - 9 am to 3:30 pm. Friday - 9 am to noon.

Pastor Anne will be on vacation June 30 - July 3. She will be taking her Sunday away on July 6 and will return to the office July 7. Please pray for her and Arvid's safety as they travel.
Jon and Sandy Oleson send their thanks to all of you who are sending cards, flowers and prayers Jon's way as he recovers at home from surgery. He gets better day by day. Please call the church office or Sandy if you would like to visit Jon.

Support Ministry Team
Summer is upon us! The Budget and Finance team and those involved with the Stewardship Campaign Called to Learn, Grow and Support, thank you for worshipping through your generous financial gifts to House of Prayer. As you go on your way this summer, may God be with you. We ask that you remember HoP in your proyers as well as in your regular contributions. Your faithful stewardship enables us to meet programs and the people we are called to serve. If you will have a significantly different giving pattern over the summer months, please call Margaret Novak in the office at 612-866-8471 ext. 208.

Evangelism Ministry Team
Church and Chat Sunday is June 29! The Evangelism Team is hosting worship today. Come and celebrate the gift of hospitality that House of Prayer members share with one another. The HoP Foundation has generously provided the seed money to cover the start-up funds for this brunch which is a part of the morning's experience. The Evangalism Team will host Church and Chat Sunday on the two remaining 5th Sundays of the year.
Fall New Member Sunday will be September 28 with receptions at both services. If you or anyone you know would like to become a full member or an associate member of House of Prayer Lutheran Church, please contact DeeDee Eldund through the church office or speak to one of the pastors. There will be two classes prior to New Member Sunday-- Lutheranism 101 and House of Prayer 101. These classes are open to all!
The House of Prayer bus is running on Sunday mornings! If you know someone who needs a ride to church please call Steve Pierson at 612-508-6085.
Richfield/Bloomington Sun Current We are inviting you to sponsor our new weekly ad in the SunCurrent. Sign up sheets are by the flower and bulletin sign-ups outside the sanctuary. Weekly sponsorship is $25.

Buy a Beaker! to support VBS. VBS is back and better than ever! Power Lab is fizzing with fun for kids, teens and adults of HoP. We need your monetary support to make it all happen. You can help by buying a beaker! Buy one beaker for $20 or buy two beakers and send a kid to VBS. You can place your donations in the offering plate (marked VBS in the memo) or drop them off in Kristin Tranby's mailbox at anytime. Thank you for helping us get closer to our $2000 goal!
Power Lab Vacation Bible School is August 11-15 from 5:30 - 8:30 pm. More information is coming. If you are interested in working with VBS, please contact Kristin Tranby in the church office at 612-866-8471 ext. 213.

Need Cabinets? If so, check out the great deal (free!) in the Fellowhip Hall. They have served us well for many decades, but Fall Festival profits are paying for replacements that will serve a newer need and appearance. There are 2 cabinets-- one's 89x24, the other's 78x24, with combo of drawers and shelves. Formica countertop for corner use or could be used separately. Also two wall hanging cabinets about 80" long. First come, first served! Talk to Ramo or an Amigo.
Check out the new stair nose on the NW stairway steps! andy and Fil removed the badly deteriorated ancient ones and added some good deal replacements.
The Social Seniors will enjoy a boat cruise on the Mississippi and St. Croix Rivers from Red Wing to Hudson on Tuesday, July 29. We will leave House of Prayer at noon and return about 6 pm. Lunch will be served on the boat. For more detaled information, see the Social Seniors newsletter. If you would like to join us on this cruise, please sign up at the Information Desk. The cost is $43.
Military Families - We would like to pray for anyone that has a family member in the military. Please submit your information to Debbie Wessman in her mailbox in the church office or call 952-432-2692. If information has changed, please let her know. A picture (if available) and current informatiton will be posted on the military board near the church office. Thank you.

BEYOND HOUSE OF PRAYER
Richfield Fourth of July Parade!
House of Prayer is in the Richfield 4th of July parade, and we want you to help represent how great we are! We need some kids (and your parents can come too) to decorate bikes to ride alongside the bus throughout the parade route. Streamers, signs. balloons -- get creative! The more patriotic the better. If you would like to participate in the parade but don't have a bike, you can walk alongside or ride in the bus. The parade starts at 1 pm at 71st and Nicollet. Please let Kristin know by July 2 or sooner by calling 612-866-8471 or by e-mailing her.
