Children's Ministry at House of Prayer
Welcome!
It's not too late to register for VBS! We'll have dinner at 5:30 and activities from 6:00 - 8:30 each evening.
Sign up your kids, grandkids, neighbors, friends, relatives -- AND yourself!! VBS is fun for all ages! You can register online or by picking up a paper registration in the office. You can still help financially! Drop a check in the offering plate, or in the office. For only $40, you can sponsor the entire cost of one child for the week.
We are still accepting donations! If you have any of these items lying around the house, please consider donating or lending them to VBS -- just let us know if you want them back! We need a row boat, sail, wooden chest, anchor, nets, rope, barrels, blue or white sheets.
Here's the menu for the Ship-Shape Galley Dinners each night:
Monday - Castaway chicken nuggets and floating fries
Tuesday - Tide water tacos
Wednesday - Nautical noodles
Thursday - Pirate pancakes and sailing sausages
Friday - Port hole pizza
(Suggested donation - $3/person or $10/family)
For questions, contact the High Seas Crew: Kristin Tranby, Stef Fiser, Heather Daggett, Cindy Jacobs, Laura Kasel, Beth Lankey, Heidi Thomas, or Cara Wright.

Upcoming Events
CLICK will be going to Feed My Starving Children on Friday, May 7, from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
***************************************************************Music School Notes
The children in Music School will be busy this
fall - singing, coloring, painting, cooking, and much
more! We will spend our time learning about music
(come see the WORD WALL in the choir room) and
working on songs to sing for fun and to sing in worship.
Our time is made even more special by our new
musical instruments, including Boomwhackers and
hand chimes, which we have enjoyed learning how to
play. A couple of highlights last year
were bringing our pets (real and stuffed) to church
for the Blessing of the Animals in October and
singing for the Thanksgiving Eve service in November.
A big thank-you to all the parents and volunteers
who make it possible to have this music ministry
for the children at House of Prayer!
